bricolage

bricolageA pop-up shop from textile collective bricolage selling handmade textile products, all made or sourced thoughtfully by members of the group.

Products include hand printed teatowels and bags, fabric badges, vintage haberdashery and beautiful hand stitched silk/cotton quilts from a women’s cooperative in India. The group will also be running workshops in the space throughout January.

bricolage is made up of Katherine May, Polly Burton, Yemi Awosile, Clara Vuletich and Naomi Paul. They met as students, coming together because of a shared ‘make-do’ attitude to textiles. As a collective, they launched at Tent London during the London Design Festival 2009.

bricolage will be in Unit 45 at Brixton Village until January 24th.
