The Remade in Brixton Work-Shop is a hub for local reuse, repair, recycling and working towards a zero waste community.
It includes a shop showcasing local ‘remade’ goods including Velo-Re’s bike tyre belts, reworked garments from Rock U Later and Fishnet Fashions, skip-salvaged felt slippers and tetrapak wallets from Bo-Peep Kids, and compost from Aardvark. There’s also a small library on recycling, zero waste and sustainable design.
The Work-Shop also hosts a free Give and Take stall, a Wants and Offers noticeboard, visions and conversations on what a zero waste Brixton will look like and how to get there.
The Work-Shop is open at Unit 5 in Brixton Village.
